Duuuuuuuuuuuude.....
Moving sucks. I always forget how much it sucks til I'm doing it again and I'm up at 1:30 in the morning trying to tie up loose ends. The best part about this move is that I don't actually have to pack anything... its just not easy to get everything done that needs to be done while taking care of a baby. Who, by the way, has been totally healthy until TODAY. Of ALL days, WHY TODAY!?!? She's mostly fine... just having a bit of a poo problem. She's a lady so I won't embarrass her any further. But I kept thinking for the last two weeks "Oh, I'll get to that later." But of course, me being me, I waited til the last possible second to get things taken care of. I did not anticipate the baby being sick tho. I suppose that's one of the lessons I need to learn to be a mama. You know what else doesn't help? Derek is ALSO a professional procrastinator. It is truly amazing that we have made it this far in life together. Haha.
I'm waiting for laundry.... And I was going to finish reading a book I borrowed from my dad, but I thought that getting cozy on the chair would surely put me to sleep and defeat the purpose of my being awake. I also contemplated setting an alarm but I know myself all too well and I would just hit snooze several times. Instead, I'm choosing to be completely, 100% USELESS tomorrow. I'm not sure I get to call in sick being a mom... Seems like I'm making a bad choice here.
I don't know why I feel it necessary to share my every thought right now, but for some reason I just can't stop.
I have a hair hanging off all loose and stuff and its tickling my neck but when I look down it moves so I can't see it... Obnoxious? Yes.
I'm so excited to move. I'm a little depressed that I still have a week left here. I'm ready to go home NOW. But, I've been waiting my whole life (and not so patiently for the last 2 1/2 years) so I think I can make it ONE MORE WEEK. Besides, I still need to see a few people about a few things before I go. (Lol, can we say "mafia"??) I haven't been looking forward to saying goodbye to anyone. But really, the way I see it, the people that love me enough to bother saying "goodbye" are the ones I'll likely see again. And the rest... well, there's always facebook. Haha. And you thought text messaging was the end of personal contact...
Speaking of facebook, two things: first, it was awesome to get rid of my couches as fast as I did. My friend Greg texted me like 2 minutes after I posted "Free to first one with a truck" and then they were gone. Farewell ugly and uncomfortable couches!! And the second thing: I LOVE wasting time doing surveys and Top 5's on facebook. Today I did a top 5 about the people I had on my walls growing up. Now, I still think I'm growing up, but I haven't had any pictures on my bedroom walls since I moved out of my mom's house. Oh, I lied. I did have a picture of AFI in my bedroom at the Ghettos. Anyway, this Top 5 got me remembering the good old times of listening to Backstreet Boys in my bedroom. Hahahahaha... You know you ALL have some silly pre-teen obsession that makes you giggle. And I KNOW half of you can still sing every word to whatever band/musician you were in love with too!!! It was kinda fun remembering all the silliness of that time. And it totally reminded me of a million other fun things... like surprise parties, falling off the bunk bed, when the nasty catfish scared the crap out of Cliff when it jumped in his bed, among other things.
Random: (as if the hair thing wasn't random enough) I totally just deleted the entire post on accident!!! Good thing it "autosaved" like two seconds before. I don't even know how I did it. Technology hates me.
There was another random thought before the last random thought but I totally forgot it. I'll probably bust up laughing when I remember it in like 4 days.
I'll stop lowering your IQ now.
OH! I just remembered the other random thought!!! ...sorta. It was something about my really poor sentences and something else... Yeah, nevermind. (sleep deprivation does this to me.)
Peace out homefrys!!!

It's Like A Book, Just Look At The Pictures And You Get The Basics!

Aw, look at our cute little purple Christmas tree! Derek must love me b/c he lets me have a girly Christmas tree. See Kitty? Haha. It is adorned with some of the ornaments my mom has given me over the years. Some are very girly, like the "I Love Dance" one that is pink and glittery. Some are totally random (but totally ME) like the Ketchup bottle. I love it. There are awesome stories about all of them and why they apply to my life. And so much evidence that my mama knows me sooooo well!
So it snowed like 5 inches today. Maybe more, but that's what my hand measurement said. (B/c that is sooo accurate!) It stopped right before I got off of work, so the drive home wasn't too bad. I hope it isn't awful tomorrow or Wednesday so we will still be able to go up to Clearfield to see my family. I love the Christmas party and the food! Haha, it seems like all my happy holidays involve food...
The baby moves a LOT now. She's always wiggling around. I spend who knows how many hours staring at my weirdly moving tummy all day. I'm still pretty excited.... For her to come?? HAHAHA I totally lost my train of thought right in the middle of that sentence...
I think I should stop this post now b/c who knows what might come out of my...fingers, technically... next. I'm thinking I should just delete this whole thing. But the point was to put the pic on here. So maybe I should stop typing all this nonsense now and delete everything but the point of this post...
But I won't.
Peace out homefrys!
